UnMod is a simple utility that scans a folder and resets all the Last Modified dates to match Created dates. This is useful if you’ve tinkered with resources on a compressed archive but don’t want the archive to appear more recent than it is in a file scan. In particular, this is a help to those of us adding FCMT and SitC resources to files for GUI BBS systems.
To use UnMod, just double click and select a folder to process. You select a folder by going inside it in the Standard File dialog and hitting the Select button. UnMod wil continue to cycle through this dialog until you hit the Cancel button. It will process only the files inside of a folder — it does not process any folders it encounters within the folder you select.
If there are some files you don’t want to adjust, enter their types and creators in STR# 500 of UnMod. It comes configured to ignore Second Sight file section listings. Strings to ignore are created by combining the file type and creator into one eight-character string. You can enter up to 10 eight-character strings to ignore in this resource.
